The Camera Obscura
This video on the right is a video which shows Aberlardo Morrel creating a camera obscura in a large room in Venice. He makes the room completely dark by taping black sheets to the windows. He then cuts a small hole so that you can see a little bit of light and an upside down image appears on the opposite wall. The reason for this is because light travels in straight lines.

This image is useful because it shows you gives you and example on how this process works. the light travels from the top of the object to the bottom. The light from the bottom of the tree projects at the top of the wall, making the image upside down. artist use this to create a realist image of the outside world.
How it was madeI used:
Firstly I cut a small section off the top of my tub. Next I put my grease proof paper on the tub I then added on the other end Then tapped them together so they were tight After I added my tin foil and added tap to secure it then pierced a little hole which then created images which were reflected from the light through a tiny hole. |
Here are some examples of camera obscure there are different ways of making them and different artist do this in many different ways there are some examples of Aberlardo morrels images. down the bottom of this text this is the type we used in our photography lesson
