My favourite image by Misho Baranovic:
|
"Yes, the photographs are taken on a mobile phone. Why am I telling you this? Because the images you see here, the result of navigating the city, could not have been taken with any other camera. It is a simple device: no dials, no lenses, no distractions. When I shoot, I feel like I'm not just looking at the scene, but actually within it. This lets me focus on the small moments that animate the changing city."

Home Learning: Patterns & Colour
Below is my first experience of mobile photography which was taken by my phone this is my homework of selected images that i have taken focusing on patterns and colour. My blackberry mobile took these photos in the simple camera no affects at all.
Photo Shoot & Trip
We took a trip up London and wandered off on an adventure, admiring objects and sights that we then took photos of. I loved the whole day! All together I took lovely images and spent a long good day with the photography crew and we had a cheeky little bite to eat - it was brilliant.
EXHIBITIONS & RESPONSEMy Visit To TWO Exhibitions:
Tim Walker (STORY TELLER) I would describe Tim Walker's attitude to photography as adventurous because of the strange objects and range of colours. His work is full of interesting images. For instance, the detail in them stands out which makes his photographs bold. He also thinks about different styles like a big object and a tiny object together and the mixture of backgrounds. There was a really big doll and a lady which made the lady look tiny which was so effective. My opinion on the design of the exhibition is that it's really clear and the photos are noticeable which exaggerates the concentration of the images. It's surprising how the images are so in depth and there were props on show. The photographs are so detailed, they tell us so many stories and the costumes in the photos show the emotions because he uses so many different colours. The atmosphere he creates with his images is very powerful. The photographs are effective in many ways in promoting fashion because there are so many different outfits and not only that it shows you how to wear them. They differ from conventional fashion photography because they are completely fantastic. |
Cartier Bresson (A QUESTION OF COLOR)
The focus of Cartier Bresson’s images are the people, the brightness, tone and shades. His aim was to capture “The decisive moment” and his precise eye for design. His methods of work and his comments about the theory and practice of photography made him a legendary figure within photojournalism. He helped develop the “street photography” style that has influenced generations to follow. Also he distrusted colour because he felt colour photos couldn't be trusted. The exhibition is arranged into parts. There are two sections and then you open a door and there is more to it with the photos hung on the wall. Colour on the street is effective it enhance a humorous or playful situation. A disadvatage would be it doesn't work when blurring whereas black and white is more effective.
